CARIBBEAN PROJECTS
PRECIOUS TREASURES DAYCARE
Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, British West Indies

We prepared the design concept for a 4,200 sq.ft. (390 m2)
daycare and a 1,200 sq.ft. (110 m2) managers apartment. The facility was
designed to handle a maximum of 50 children from infant to pre-school age. |

Working with the Caribbean climate, we provided large
shaded areas for outdoor storytime, crafts and other activities. The building is
designed with a high open roof which lets the breezes pass through, thus
providing natural cooling.
