The project was recipient of the Leather Medal Award from the Hamilton Society of Architects and City of Burlington's, Mayors Business Recognition Award for Site Development.

The Owner's instructions were to create a unique building which would be fun to come to each day, interesting to work in and easily remembered by their clients.

The Owner's desire that the 20 foot (6 m) clear height service area not look 'stuck on' to the 10 foot (3 m) clear height office area was accomplished by sloping the glazing head, colour band and top section of concrete block. The floating entrance canopy, the planters and the double arch entry approach, as well as a number of subtle details near where people walk, al combine to make the building a successful one for customers and employees alike.
