The project involved adding an indoor pool to an existing 7 storey hotel and 3 storey motel. The new pool was placed near the road to act as an 'eye-grabber' for people driving up the hill from the falls who often drove by the facility without noticing it.

To create the required appeal the 1,800 sq.ft. (170 m2) pool enclosure was rounded and a continuous glazed vault set at the edge of the roof. The overhead walkway which connected the pool to the hotel was completely glazed as well. The two elements of the pool enclosure and overhead walkway became the new visual icons for the hotel.

Because the Owner had difficulty in visualizing two dimensional drawings, a series of computer models was used to convey the information.
