Constructed just after 1900 as a
private residence, this art deco jewel has been fully renovated. The
entire main floor now houses the Little Learning House child care centre.
The lower level is being renovated as the new home of Zebroski Associates
Ltd., Architect.

The 8,000 square foot
building had to be stripped back to the bare walls. |

Columns and beams as well as floors and roof
structure were all exposed so that the sizes and configurations could be
determined and proper upgrades designed. |
 |
New columns and beams were installed to bring the structure up to current
code requirements |
|

|
The end result is a unique mix of the very old and very
new.
