The building spaces are massed into a complex series of modules to create visual interest from all three streets to which the structure is exposed. The solarium was designed to pre-hat return air before it is sent to the furnace, thus dramatically reducing energy consumption. This 4,000 sq.ft. (370 m2) residence is clad in cedar which was left untreated so that it would weather naturally.
